Hello Bikini lovers. We are back this week with our third and final Sister Spotlight! This week, I had the pleasure of interviewing the COO of The Bikini Block, Amanda. She works hard every day to ensure business operations run smoothly and efficiently. I got to learn some fun facts about her as well as what she loves about working for The Bikini Block!
 
Let’s Get It Started:

What’s your favorite way to unwind after a long day?
Sitting on my balcony watching the sunset with my dog Pup.

Are you a dog or a cat person? (or both)
Dog for sure. All dogs have my heart. I actually rescue puppies when I have time.

What is the first concert you ever went to?
Ariana Grande back in 2015.

What’s the top destination on your must- visit list?
Indonesian or The Philippines.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I make a killer breakfast sandwich. It is like a grilled cheese but has egg, bacon and avocado. I also love sushi, but there's no way I could live the rest of my life only eating one thing. I'd rather die.

What is a typical day of work like as COO?
Mailing out orders, designing new bikinis, planning for future pop up events, and marketing our line on social media.

What is your favorite Bikini you’ve released so far?
The Alli bikini, I just love the brown it’s super flattering.

What’s your go-to productivity trick?
I usually sit down and clear my head, then make some notes on what are the most important things I need to do. I like to stay organized!

What energizes you at work?
Great music and sunshine. I'm also driven seeing my designs come to life.

What is a work related accomplishment you’re really proud of?
Designing some our newest line of bikinis. I worked really hard on the cuts and fabric designs!
